His career spans work with the United Nations System, governments, and international corporations, where he has advised world and corporate leaders on communications, sustainability, stakeholder engagement, and the broader Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) agenda.
He has directed large-scale global campaigns and projects, managed institutional reputation, and crafted narratives that rebuild trust with critical audiences. With a creative and innovative approach, he has led initiatives that combine technology and storytelling to mobilize action, generate impact, and connect with people’s hearts and minds.
As an executive producer of major international conferences and events, Álvaro has traveled to more than 80 countries documenting the interconnections between culture, people, and sustainable development. His passion for creativity, science, and technology is reflected in his commitment to education, reducing inequality, and driving transformative solutions for the well-being of communities and the planet.
Álvaro holds a degree from California University, with advanced studies at Florida International University and the Business Administration School in Colombia.
