Fabiola Aguilar is an international strategist in sustainable development, social innovation, and purpose-driven leadership with over 22 years of experience in Latin America and the Caribbean. Her career blends technical expertise, a transformative vision, and a deep conviction in the power of collaboration to achieve social justice.
She has led landmark programs and projects with multilateral organizations such as UNDP, UNICEF, UNFPA, USAID, BID Lab, World Bank, ACDI, SIDA, AECID, JAICA, UE, international NGOs, the private sector, and the civil society. These projects have focused on human rights, gender equity, youth, creative and cultural industries, health, education, violence prevention, and environmental governance.
Her expertise spans strategic frameworks, impact evaluations, monitoring and evaluation, public policy implementation, and co-creation platforms. Fabiola has also played a crucial role in designing communication strategies for development, integrating storytelling as a tool for social change.
Fabiola is the driving force behind Nexus for Social Advancement, a social enterprise founded with a calling: to build bridges between sectors, activate global alliances, and train new generations to lead development with meaning and sustainability.
Her leadership combines technical excellence, social sensitivity, and a bold vision to build a more just future. Today, through Nexus Impact Lab, she articulates collective impact solutions that transcend borders.
