Creative Strategist in Narrative Design, Multimedia, and Communication for Social Impact
Eduardo Cálix is not just a communicator—he’s a narrative architect. With nearly two decades of experience in the intersection of storytelling, design, and human rights, Eduardo crafts visual and emotional experiences that move minds and hearts. Born in Honduras and shaped by the urgency of social justice, he has become a regional reference in communication for development, multimedia storytelling, and transformational content creation.
Throughout his career, Eduardo has led creative strategies for agencies like USAID, FAO, and UNICEF, designing campaigns that don’t just inform—they inspire. His portfolio includes success story documentaries, animated infographics, and graphic identities for programs like Creando Mi Futuro Aquí, Mesoamérica Sin Hambre, and Transforming Market Systems. His language is both visual and ethical, and his storytelling is always centered on people, dignity, and possibility.
A defining chapter in Eduardo’s journey was his leadership in founding and training the National Network of Child Communicators of Honduras—a pioneering effort to empower children and youth through media, journalism, and human rights education. With deep sensitivity and method, he has trained new generations in how to speak truth to power, using cameras, microphones, and stories as tools for civic expression and change.
As part of the Intergenerational CORE TEAM of NEXUS, Eduardo is more than an advisor—he is a cultural translator and creative visionary. He embodies the spirit of innovation and radical empathy that defines NEXUS: connecting generations through story, strategy, and the belief that communication is not support—it’s a catalyst for transformation
